I’ve decided this summer is gonna be a bedroom... - THE ΛNDREΛ DIARIES

My name is Andrea, and I am a 23 years old girl from a sunny island in Venezuela. Dreamer, bilingual (english - español), graphic designer, art lover and fashion enthusiast. Utterly in love with Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. I take photos, read books, drink tea, buy nice things and enjoy my simple life. I believe in God, I believe in karma and I'm always trying to look at the bright side of things, because even when we can't see it, the glass is always half full. I live in a very small town but I like to think my destiny is somewhere in a big city full of bright lights. I have a dog named Lola and my life ain't very interesting but I still want to blog about it…

“I think life is about falling in love with the right person, shopping, eating your favorite decadent desserts and traveling a lot.”

I’ve decided this summer is gonna be a bedroom decoration season, meaning that I’m gonna spend lots of time (and money) making myself a beautiful bedroom/studio. So far it’s good I must admit, I just need to work on some little details. I think the key is to know how combinate the place where I rest and live with the place where I work and study (I have my drawing table and desktop in here)…

1. White duvet: Mine is old and needs to be replaced. The white duvet with the bright pink and fuchsia indian pillows I have will make a perfect combination, elegant and fun. // 2. Drawer pullers: Mine are old and plain boring, I want to give my white dresser a new look and make it more interesting with some beautiful drawer pullers. // 3. Board extreme makeover: To make my work space more inspirational and fun, my board has to suffer an extreme makeover. Some white and neon pink paint will do the magic, cork is a great material to work on it. // 4. Mannequin jewelry hanger: I’ve been buying so many necklaces lately and the two hangers I have are not enough. I’ve always thought mannequins are a super girly and cute way to hang jewelry and they also work as decoration.

1. Little shaped mirrors: They’re cute and a great way to decorate walls. I personaly prefer it over wall decals. // 2. Indian patchwork carpet: I love the details and how colorful they are, I’m sure I’ll never get bored of it. A matching to my pillows. // 3. Framed prints: I want wall with lots of little frames, this is something that can’t be done in a day tho, by far I have two and I’m planing adding another soon. Just printed stuff (postcards, texts, illustrations) tho, no photographs. // 4. Scented candles: I’m obsessed with these, I currently have 4 but I want more, they look nice as a decoration and smell good (what else do you want?). My favories are: cinnamon apple, vanilla, spiced pumpkin and rose. // 5. Mousepad: The one I’m currently using doesn’t match my bedroom (or personality) at all.As buy and repair things is not enough to have a beutiful bedroom I’ll also spend my time cleaning and organizing my closet, dresser and where I keep my materials for work. Maybe doing some DIY’s here and there and you know, just enjoying this decoration process (I’m very excited to be honest lol).& If you have any ideas or suggestions on this topic, don’t doubt to drop them on my ask box!
